Sign of the times

Amma and Papa grew up on National Programme of Song and Dance..   Look's like we're going to grow up to Videocon Boogie Woogie and Big Boss

smile

i wonder why all babies seem to smile so much (they do cry, but they never seem serious ,only crying or smiling).i mean adults nowadays, they just seem to be serious. the younger the happier. the happier, the smilier. the smilier, the more cute. so i know how babies are cute

thoughts

i think babies are lucky cos they dont have any work. But how do they feel? what do they think? well sure, we think babies won't think of anything except drinking milk or if theyve got to poop, but how do we know for sure? noone can read minds, can they? so what if a baby does think about stuff, maybe not everything, though. so you might think, if you were a baby, what does mommy cut into bits and then do all sorts of things with? (vegetables) or why does daddy go away each morning?. every mind develops, and a babies must be no exception. but can we know for sure?

Magic Show

It is said that the true artist is he who can fool the audience.. Make the audience feel that it is the one who is pulling the strings, but in reality it is the artist who tugs at the audience emotions. When you see her smile, you really don't know if you are the audience of a performance or the monkey in the ring.. You just get the feeling that you've just seen a master at work..
Have you heard of Stalin? What about Mohandas Gandhi? George Bush? Saddam Hussein? Mandela? Osama? Obama? Heck, I am sure, you've heard of a guy with a funny moustache, going by the name Adolf..   Regardless of whether you've heard of them, all of them have one thing in common with you..   At some point in their lives, they were 4 months old.. They never judged anyone as being different from them.. They didn't know what they were themselves, to judge someone.. Prince or pauper, rich or poor, black or white.. they were all the same for these kids.. It really didn't matter .. Even their parents probably raised them as normal kids, nothing extraordinary.. Their mother meant the world to them, and that was it.. Everything else was something to either play with, or put in their mouths..   Had they not grown up, the world as we know it, would definitely have been different..   Probably a little happier place that what we now leave for our chi...

Of names..

I'm reading Hari Kunzru's book "My Revolutions". I came across this line in there: Annica is a Buddhist term. The cosmic state of flux. -- Flux: The condition existing in a medium subjected to a magnetising force. I wonder what that means for you? That you will change and grow constantly? That you will adapt and be strong in every situation? That you will be intelligent and visionary one moment, compassionate and kind the next? That you will be powerful, and immense, all in one? I wish you will be the magnetism, the force, the vastness.. I wish the world for you. I will wait and see. Meanwhile I hope, that one day 16 years from now, I will not say to you "I remember when you were born, my dear... you were so little and prettier by the day.. and look at you now, all grown up and changing the world.." Coz there's nothing more irritating than hearing a grownup say that to you. So your weirdly-named aunt will bite her tongue. But you can be sure she's th...

Four months and more gorgeous by the day... I wonder what it is that makes me so gorgeous? Is it the pottu that mommy faithfully puts on my forehead every day? It's off center-ness only adding to my mischevious look? The cute pretty earrings or the pink dresses? Nahhh.. Is it my deep dark eyes that purport a wisdom impossible for my age? Is it my perfect perfect face? Is it the serenity and depth that I inherited from mommy? Or the humor and common sense that I inherited from daddy? The upturned curved edges of my wide mouth as I smile? Hmmm... Wait that's it - it has to do with my smile.. as daddy says... something about the genuinity of my smile? Yes that's it. The sheer joy The happiness The laughter bubbling in each smile in each glance Don't you wish you had that? Aren't I the most gorgeous? I know. Admire away.

Gambling with Vaccines... Do you have it in you?

What is the correct spelling of pneumococcal infection? Whatever the spelling, it is big trouble if one gets it. So there's a vaccine for it. Which should be roughly 3000 bucks. So, 3000 bucks is nothing for a lifetime of not having to worry about even spelling pneumococcal, is there? But what's the probability of someone coming down with this infection? Of the billions of children who have been born ever, even if this has infected roughly 1 million kids worldwide (worst case) we're talking one in ten-thousand. Now would a gambler go "all-in" if he feels he has only a "one-in-ten-thousand" chance of winning the pot?
